Hi, I’m Will, a Acupuncturist and Bowen Therapy practitioner located in the heart of Clifton. Whether you are seeking relief from chronic pain, recovery from a sports injury, or support for stress and anxiety, I provide a calm, inclusive environment tailored to your individual needs.
As a specialist in both Traditional Acupuncture and the Bowen Therapy, my practice focuses on gentle treatments that work with your body’s systems to encourage natural healing and long-term vitality.
Therapies - Specialised Treatments in Bristol
- Traditional Japanese Acupuncture (Toyohari): Unlike standard acupuncture, this refined Japanese style is famous for being incredibly gentle and often non-insertive. It is an ideal choice for needle-sensitive clients, children, and those seeking a deeply relaxing experience.
- The Bowen Technique: A holistic soft-tissue therapy that uses precise, light touches to reset the body’s fascia. It is highly effective for sciatica, back pain, and restricted mobility.
My practice is grounded in high-level clinical training and a holistic, individualised approach:
- Expertly Qualified: I hold a First Class BSc Honours Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and have been practicing Bowen Technique since 2006. I'm a registered Toyohari (Japanese Acupuncture) practitioner.
- Accredited & Safe: I am a full member of the The Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC), the The Bowen Therapy Professional Association (BTPA), and The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and I am fully licensed by Bristol City Council, and fully insured.
- Inclusive Practice: LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly, ensuring a safe and supportive space for all members of the Bristol community.
Location
I’m currently based in The Practice Rooms, in the heart of Clifton, Bristol (BS8), just a short walk from the Suspension Bridge. It is easily accessible from Redland, Cotham, and Hotwells, and across Bristol.
